61 71 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing Windshield Washer Pump

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release fluid reservoir for windshield washer system and pull out

Disconnect plug connection (1).

NOTE: Catch any escaping washer fluid if necessary.

Detach hose (2) from windshield washer pump (3).

Turn windshield washer pump (3) if necessary and pull in direction of arrow out of fluid reservoir for windshield washer system (4).

Installation:

Replace strainer for windshield washer pump
Coat sealing ring of windshield washer pump with anti-seize agent
Lay hose of windshield washer pump without kinks
Fill fluid reservoir
