64 11 480 Removing and installing/replacing cooler box button (long version)

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

WARNING: When working with adhesive cleaners in enclosed rooms:
Ensure room is well ventilated.
IMPORTANT: Observe the following when handling adhesive areas:
The adhesive areas must be dry and free from dust and grease.
After cleaning, do not touch bonding area with bare hands.

Carefully lever out cover (1) with special tool 64 1 020 at marked areas.

Disconnect plug connection.

Installation: 

Remove coarse adhesive residues from adhesive area of cooler box and degrease with adhesive cleaner.

Make sure button and cover (1) are correctly installed.

Press down cover (1) evenly.
