64 11 475 Removing and installing complete cooler box (long version)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove rear seat. See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
• Remove rear head restraints. See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .
• Partially detach backrests. See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .

Remove cover (1) to right.

Installation: 

Ensure that cover is firmly seated.

Release screws (1).

Modify left backrest (2).  See SEATS - REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS .

Release plug connection (1) and associated cable tie.

Release screws (1).

Remove cooler box (2) completely in direction of arrow from vehicle.
