52 16 023 Removing and installing/replacing adjusting unit for thigh support on left or right front seat

Move front seat into top position.

Unclip cover (1) with wedge special tool 00 9 325 starting at the inside (arrow).

Fold up and unclip cover (1).

Move thigh support (1) as far forward as possible.

Release screws (1).

Fold down thigh support and place on front seat.

Installation note:

Insert screws (1) with Loctite.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (1).

Feed out adjusting unit (2) downward.

Installation note:

Adjusting unit (1) must lie flush on facing (2).

Installation note:

Make sure latch mechanism (1) of adjusting frame is correctly on frame (2) (as illustrated).
