52 17 392 Removing and installing/replacing front left or right crash-active head restraint

Switch off ignition!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove REAR PANEL

Lever out locking clamps (1)

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Feed out wiring harness from head restraint height adjustment and foam material.

Lift out head restraint.
