51 32 154 Adjusting left or right front door window

NOTE: Door window glass must be closed.

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Slacken screws (1 and 2) (do not release fully).

Retaining clip (3) remains fitted.

Screws (1) of power window rails at top must be tightened down.

Connect special tool 61 3 060 to plug connection (3) and special tool 61 2 071 .

Wind special tool 61 2 071 around cable (4) (risk of damage).

IMPORTANT: Energize power window unit for max. 0.5 seconds in end position (risk of damage).
Energize special tool 61 2 071 with 12V, the door window opens or closes through polarity reversal.

Open door window by approx. 100 mm.

Slacken screws (2) of door window (do not release fully).

Close door window completely.

Tighten down screws (2) of door window.

Tightening torque: see 2AZ in 51 32 FRONT DOOR WINDOWS

NOTE: Door window (1) opens or closed through polarity reversal of terminals (3).

Using special tools 61 2 210 and 61 2 071 open door window (1) to approx. 40 mm.

Tighten down screws (2).

Tightening torque: see 2AZ in 51 33 POWER WINDOWS, FRONT

Close door window (1) until screw (2) is accessible.

Tighten screw (2).

Tightening torque: see 2AZ in 51 33 POWER WINDOWS, FRONT

Close door window (1) completely.

Installation: 

INITIALIZE power window.
