34 52 535 Replacing a rear pulse generator

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear wheel.
READ AND COMPLY WITH GENERAL INFORMATION .

OBSERVE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS ON RAISING THE VEHICLE .

Open plug housing (1).

Pull plug connection (2) out of mounting and disconnect.

Pull cable out of brackets on swinging arm.

Installation:

Ensure proper locking of the plug connector and proper seating of the cable in the brackets.

Release hexagon socket head cap screw (1) and pull wheel speed sensor out of bore.

Installation:

Tightening torque 34 51 6AZ .

Clean bore hole for pulse generator and grease with Staburags NBU 12/K lubricating grease . See BRAKES - OPERATING FLUIDS .
