67 31 610 Removing And Installing/Replacing Drive For Seat Tilt Adjustment (Comfort Seats In Rear Compartment)

Remove rear seat padding completely  . See 52 25 002 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PADDING FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT .

Disconnect plug connection (1). If necessary, cut through cable tie.

Release screws (2).

Detach drive for seat tilt adjustment (3) from drive shaft (4) and feed out in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Make sure drive shaft (4) is correctly seated.

Replacement: 

Initialize  drive unit for seat tilt adjustment. See 67 31 ... NOTES ON INITIALIZING ELECTRIC SEAT SERVODRIVES .
