67 31 600 Removing And Installing/Replacing Drive For Seat Longitudinal/Tilt Adjustment (Comfort Seats In Rear Compartment)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Detach retainers (1) at both rubber straps and pull gap cover (2) forwards slightly.

Cut through cable ties (1) and pull gap cover (2) downwards.

Installation: 

Make sure cable ties are correctly positioned.

Release both clips (3) and remove trim (4) towards top.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2).

Detach drive for seat longitudinal/tilt adjustment (2) from drive shafts (4) and feed out in direction of arrow.

Make sure drive shafts (4) are correctly seated.

Replacement: 

Initialize  drive for seat longitudinal/tilt adjustment. See 67 31 ... NOTES ON INITIALIZING ELECTRIC SEAT SERVODRIVES .
