65 77 720 Removing And Installing (Replacing) Left B-Pillar Sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Unscrew bolt (1).

Loosen screws (2).

Installation: 

Tightening torque  . Refer to AUDIO, NAVIGATION AND ANTI-THEFT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA

Make sure sensor is mounted without play.

Lift B-pillar sensor (3) slightly at screws (2) and remove towards rear in B-pillar.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Feed B-pillar sensor (2) in direction of arrow out of B-pillar and remove.

Installation: 

For improved positioning, guide B-pillar sensor (1) if necessary through opening in B-pillar (2).

Replacement: 

Carry out coding/programming. See VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND CODING .
