65 50 120 Removing And Installing/Replacing Rear Compartment Monitor

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release screws (1).

Unclip side trims (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Release screws (1).

Feed out rear center armrest trim (2) in direction of arrow from center armrest (3) and pull back.

NOTE: Detaching rear compartment monitor mountings is shown on left side; proceed in same way for detaching on right side.

Release screw (1).

Installation: 

Tightening torque  . Refer to AUDIO, NAVIGATION AND ANTI-THEFT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA

Release screw (2) and remove rear compartment monitor mounting (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Tightening torque  . Refer to AUDIO, NAVIGATION AND ANTI-THEFT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA

Release screws (1).

NOTE: Removing rear compartment monitor is shown on left side; proceed in same way for removing on right side.
Press metal ring (3) to unlock mechanism of rear compartment monitor (2). If necessary, swivel rear compartment monitor (2) downwards.

Feed out trim (4) downwards from center armrest (5).

Installation: 

Make sure trim (4) is correctly seated on center armrest (5).

Pull back rear compartment monitor (2) complete with trim (4) in direction of arrow. Feed associated rear compartment monitor leads out of center armrest (5) and remove monitor (2) complete with trim (4).

Installation: 

Feed rear compartment monitor leads (1) and (2) as illustrated into openings of center armrest (3).

Make sure rear compartment monitor leads (1) and (2) are correctly seated in folding arms (4) of monitor (5).
