64 11 738 Replacing Front Panel (On Heater - A/C System Control Panel)

Special tools required:

12 7 192

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove sensor blower for interior temperature. See 64 11 889 REPLACING SENSOR FAN FOR INTERIOR TEMPERATURE .

CAUTION: Lay control panel on special tool 12 7 192 (antistatic mat).

Carefully break out ribs of front panel (1).

Installation:

Make guides (2) are correctly seated.

Detach housing (3) in direction of arrow from front panel (4).

Installation:

Insert circuit board (5) into mountings (6).

CAUTION: Do not touch main circuit board (1) and circuit board (2) with bare hands.

Detach main circuit board (1) at outer edges in direction of arrow from circuit board (2).

Installation:

Make sure pins (3) are correctly seated on board (2).
