64 11 225 Replacing Controller For Heater - A/C System Fan (Automatic A/C High)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead . See 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
Remove lower trim from instrument panel . See 51 45 181 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM AT BOTTOM RIGHT .
Remove side trim panel on centre console . See 51 16 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING SIDE PANELS ON CENTER CONSOLE .

Disconnect plug connection (1) on fan housing (2).

NOTE: For purposes of clarity, illustration shows heater/air conditioner removed.

Release screws (1) and remove fan cover (2) in direction of arrow.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release screws (2) and remove controller for heater - A/C system fan (3) in direction of arrow.
