63 17 070 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Fog Lamp (From 03/2005)

NOTE: The time value of this job does not include adjustment of the fog lamps!

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front underbody protection . See 51 47 490 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION .

Release screws (1).

Release screw (2) and remove cover (1).

Unclip trim (1) towards front.

Installation:

Retaining hooks of trim (1) must not be damaged.

Release screw (1).

Feed fog lamp (2) in direction of arrow out of holder (3).

Disconnect plug connection (1) and remove front fog light (2).

IMPORTANT: Follow instructions for handling light bulbs (exterior lights) . See 63 99 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING LIGHT BULBS (EXTERIOR LIGHTS) .

Replacement:

If necessary, remove bulbs . See 63 99 210 REPLACING HALOGEN BULB FOR LEFT OR RIGHT FOG LAMP (FROM 03/2005) .
