61 31 164 Removing And Installing/Replacing Rear Left Or Right Switch Combination (Seat Heating, Head Restraint)

Special tools required:

00 9 317
00 9 341

Fold down center armrest.

Open upper armrest section.

Pull out rear middle head restraint (1) a little.

First lever out front catches (2) of cover frame (3) with special tool 00 9 317 .

Then unclip cover frame (3) all round with special tool 00 9 317 and remove.

Installation:

Detent lugs of cover frame (3) must not be damaged.

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Using special tool 00 9 341, depress catches (1) and press out rear switch combination (2) in direction of arrow.
