52 24 400 Replacing Seat Cover (Normal) For Rear Seat

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Detach retainers in areas (1).

Installation: 

Bend new retainers closed with pliers 52 0 050  .

Unhook seat cover in areas (2).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Disconnect plug connections (2) on left and right.

Remove seat cover (3) complete with padding.

Release clips in designated areas.

Remove seat cover (1) from padding.

Remove all remnants of retainers from seat cover and/or padding.

Installation: 

Seat cover (1) is secured by Velcro-type tape (2) in padding (3).

Pull all designated trim threads out of seat cover.

Installation: 

Slide trim threads into new seat cover. If necessary, cut mounting for trim threads.
