52 17 380 Removing And Installing/Replacing Head Restraint Mount On Left Or Right Front Seat (Comfort)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove head restraint. See 52 14 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINTS (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) .
Remove both rear panels on front seat backrest. See 52 17 205 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTH REAR PANELS ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST (COMFORT) .

Detach retaining points (1).

Unfasten cable clip (1).

Disconnect plug connections (2).

Feed out AKS carrier (3) towards bottom.

Release screws (1).

Installation:

Guide pins (2) of head restraint mount must engage in openings on AKS carrier.

Feed out head restraint mount (3) sideways.
