52 14 010 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Seat Rails On Left Or Right Front Seat (Normal/Electric)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front seat . See 52 14 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (NORMAL/ELECTRIC) .
- Remove lower strap (belt tensioner). See 72 11 041 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT LOWER BELT FITTING (SEAT BELT TENSIONER) .
- Remove drive unit for longitudinal seat adjustment. See 67 31 500 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING DRIVE UNIT FOR LONGITUDINAL SEAT ADJUSTMENT .

Switch off ignition!
Disconnect all plug connections on seat and airbag modules.
Installation:
Ensure correct connection; mark plug connections if necessary.
Press catches (1).
Slide adjusting unit (2) for active head restraint adjustment in direction of arrow and remove.
Release left and right screws (1).
Tightening torque. See SEATS - TIGHTENING TORQUES - ALPINA .
Remove seat rails (4) with carrier plate (3).
Release fastening elements (2) on left and right.
Remove carrier plate (3).
Release screws (1).
Remove holder (2) for lower strap (belt tensioner).
