51 47 030 Removing And Installing/Replacing Entrance Cover Strip, Rear (Inside) Left Or Right

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Version with rear seat (normal) only 

Version with rear seat (comfort) only 

Press entrance cover strip (1) at front towards bottom and feed out from door pillar trim (2).

Remove entrance cover strip (1) at front from clips (2) of door pillar.

Release plastic nut (1).

Feed cover strip (2) forwards and upwards out of trim (3) if necessary with aid of fishbone 00 9 321  and remove.

If necessary, lever clips with end cutting pliers (head of pliers surface-ground) out of door pillar.

NOTE: If necessary, detach mucket before removing trim on rear comfort seat.

Installation: 

Feed in guide lugs (1) under trim (2).

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Clip mounts of entrance cover strip (2) must not be damaged.

Push clips (1) onto entrance cover strip (2).
