51 32 160 Removing And Installing / Replacing Housing Cover On Inner Left Or Right Door Window Frame

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front door trim panel . See 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Disconnect plug connection (1) for speaker.

Lever cover (2) in direction of arrow out of retainer (3).

Detach cover (1) from retainer (2) and remove rest.

Installation:

Following parts of cover (2) must not be damaged or missing:

Bridges
Foam

Initialize power window . See 67 62 ... NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW .

Replacement:

Remove speaker.
