51 32 154 Adjusting Left Or Right Front Door Window Glass

Special tools required: * 61 2 071 * 61 2 210

Note: Door window glass must be closed. Necessary preliminary tasks: * Remove door brake for front door. See 51 21 280 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING DOOR BRAKE ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR .

Slacken screws (do not release fully). Retaining clip remains fitted.

Screws of power window rails at top must be tightened down.

Slacken screws of door window (do not release fully).

Connect special tool 61 2 210 to plug connection and special tool 61 2 071. Connect special tool 61 2 071 to a 12 V power source.

IMPORTANT: Open door window approx. 100 mm and close again completely. Tighten down screws of door window. Tightening torque 51 32 2AZ. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA .

Using special tools 61 2 210 and 61 2 071, open door window to approx. 40 mm.

Tighten down screws. Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA .

Close door window until screw is accessible. Tighten screw. Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES -- ALPINA . Close door window completely. Initialize power window. See 67 62 ... NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW .
