51 24 151 Removing And Installing/Replacing Hydraulic Cylinder For Rear Lid (ELECTROHYDRAULIC-Fully Automatic)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Open cable holders (2 and 4).

Release cable tie (3).

Feed out hydraulic hoses (1).

Installation: 

Routing of hydraulic hoses (1):

Open cable holders (1).

Feed out hydraulic hoses (2).

Open cable holder (1) and feed out hydraulic hoses (2).

Lever hydraulic cylinder (4) out of ball pin (3).

Release retainer (5), remove and detach hydraulic cylinder (4) from rear lid hinge (6).

Hoses on hydraulic cylinder must be sealed tight. For this purpose, use the seal plugs and cap nuts from the "Small parts for hydraulic cylinder" set.

IMPORTANT: Hose connections (2) on hydraulic cylinder (1) must not be twisted.

Installation: 

Check function.
