51 16 365 Removing And Installing/Replacing GLOVEBOX Cover (Without Active Knee Protection)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim for instrument panel at bottom right . See 51 45 181 REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM AT BOTTOM RIGHT .

Open glovebox.

Release clip (1) and detach retaining strap (2).

Release clip (1) and detach damper (2).

Close glovebox.

Release screws (1) and remove counter-supports (2).

Unlock glovebox (3) and remove.

Installation:

Adjust glovebox (1) to instrument panel (2):

A = approx. 5 mm

B = approx. 4 mm (center)

Check function.
