51 16 190 Removing And Installing / Replacing Lock Cylinder In Center Armrest

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Actuate catches (1 and 3) gently in direction of arrow and detach housings (2 and 4) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Make sure catches (1 and 3) engage correctly.

Installation: 

Move key (1) into illustrated (vertical) position.

Slide in lock (2) as far as it will go.

Guide (3) must be flush after housing halves have been fitted.

Actuate catches (1) gently in direction of arrow and detach housing (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation: 

Make sure catches (1) engage correctly.

Installation: 

Insert (1) must be correctly seated on lock cylinder (2).

Actuate catches (1) gently in direction of arrow and press lock cylinder (2) in direction of arrow out of housing (3).

Installation: 

Make sure catches (1) engage correctly.
