51 16 ... Disengaging And Engaging Roller Sun Blind On Left Or Right Rear Door

Special tools required: 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disengaging roller sun blind: 

Retract roller sun blind (1) and block at pull rod with special tool 00 9 318  at bottom (left and right sliding members snap out)

Pull roller sun blind (1) upwards slightly and secure sliding member (2) with adhesive tape.

Pull roller sun blind (1) at rear upwards and feed out of sliding member (2).

Feed roller sun blind (1) out of sliding member (3) and set down.

Secure sliding member (3) with adhesive tape.

Engaging roller sun blind: 

Engage roller sun blind (1) in sliding member (3) and unfasten adhesive tape.

Slide roller sun blind (1) at rear downwards and feed into sliding member (2).

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Grip roller sun blind (1) and unfasten adhesive tape on sliding member (2). Allow roller sun blind (1) to slide downwards slowly.

Extend roller sun blind (1) (sliding members automatically snap into "top" end position).

NOTE: A function test must be performed after work on the roller sun blind.
