Removal & Installation

  1. Release stabilizer link (1) on left and right of stabilizer bar (2). Grip with open-end wrench. See Figure .
  2. Release retaining bracket on left and right. Remove stabilizer. See Fig 1 .
  3. To install, ensure rubber mount, retaining bracket and stabilizer bar are free of grease. Ensure rubber mount open end faces downward.
  4. Wet retaining bracket with low-surface-tension water (mix one part soap to 20 parts water) and install. Replace self-locking nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Install stabilizer links on stabilizer bar. Replace self-locking nuts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
