Remove rear brake disks. See 34 21 200 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING BRAKE LININGS ON BOTH REAR DISC BRAKES .

Check brake linings for minimum thickness and traces of wear such as cracks.

Check expansion lever for ease of movement, apply grease if necessary.

Check function of parking brake.
