12 14 611 Replacing Left Knock Sensors (N62, N62TU)

(cylinder bank 5 to 8)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

IMPORTANT: Mixing up the knock sensor plug connections will result in engine damage!
Routing of wires and plug connections must conform to the original routing. This eliminates the risk of confusion and mix-ups.

Release bolts.

Tightening torque. See ENGINE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Remove knock sensors (1).

NOTE: Now clear the fault memory.
