52 17 034 Removing and Installing/Replacing Shaft For Head Restraint Adjustment

Necessary preliminary tasks:

- Remove both rear panels. See 52 17 205 Removing and installing/replacing both rear panels on left or right front seat backrest .
- Remove inner cover. See 52 17 041 Removing and installing/replacing inner cover on left or right front seat (comfort) .
- Remove active head restraint support. See 52 17 380 Removing and installing/replacing head restraint mount on left or right front seat (comfort) .
Bend shaft (1) in direction of arrow.
Pull shaft (1) out of gear (2) and remove.
