52 16 023 Removing and Installing/Replacing Adjusting Unit For Thigh Support On Left Or Right Front Seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front seat. See 52 14 000 Removing and Installing Left Or Right Front Seat .

Move thigh support forwards as far as possible.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Release screws (2).

Installation:

Insert screws (2) with Loctite.

Release screws in areas (1).

Feed out adjusting unit (2) complete with drive in direction of arrow and remove.
