51 47 161 Removing And Installing/Replacing Right Luggage Compartment Wheel Arch Trim

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove right rest side section . See 52 26 008 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT/RIGHT SIDES OF BACKREST ON REAR SEAT BACKREST (THROUGH-LOADING) .
Remove right glovebox . See 51 16 ... REMOVING AND INSTALLING INSERT FOR RIGHT GLOVEBOX .

Press catches (1) together from inside and feed out cover (2).

Disconnect plug connection on socket (1).

Release clips (2).

Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch trim (3) in inwards direction.

Replacement:

Remove socket (1).

Version with storage pack:

Remove multifunction hook (2).

Remove tensioning strap (3).

NOTE: Openings for multifunction hook (2) and tensioning strap (3) must be cut out from luggage compartment wheel arch trim.

Saw out openings with an oscillating saw and a straight blade on the molding.
