51 16 225 Removing And Installing/Replacing Decorative Trim On Centre Console On Left Or Right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove storage box . See 51 16 240 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR STORAGE BOX .
Remove trim from cup holder . See 51 16 193 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM ON FRONT CUP HOLDER .

Release screws (1).

Unclip trim (2) from retainers (3).

Feed trim (2) towards rear out of guide (4).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty retainers (3).

Installation:

Guides (1 and 2) on decorative trim (3) must not be damaged.

Guides (1 and 2) must be correctly inserted into center console during fitting.
