41 62 007 Removing And Installing Rear Lid Lower Section

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove trim for rear lid lower section . See 51 49 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR REAR LID LOWER SECTION .
Disconnect all cable plug connections and pull wiring harness out of rear lid.

Open rear lid (1) until screw (2) is accessible (risk of injury by spring tension).

With rear lid in this position, release screw (2) and insert in bore of support (3).

Release screws (1) on both sides of vehicle.

Installation:

Screw down rear lid lower section with fitting screws. This dispenses with the need for adjustment after installation.
