65 77 635 Replacing Sensor Mat For Left or Right Rear Seat Occupancy Detector (Comfort Seat)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove seat cover for rear seat . See .52 25 405 REPLACING SEAT COVER FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR SEAT .
Remove sensor mat (1) from padding (2).
IMPORTANT:
To avoid malfunctions, make sure sensor mat (1) is cleanly laid:
- Lay plug-in connection in designated recess.
- Lay sensor mat (1) straight and without kinks (large bending radii).
- If necessary, secure sensor mat (1) with adhesive tape provided.
- Feed sensor mat (1) in areas of transition (e.g. seat cushion to side section) cleanly into penetrations of padding (1).
