65 50 011 Removing and Installing (Replacing) Video Module For On-Board Monitor

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead . See 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY .
Remove flap in luggage compartment panel on left. See 51 47 172 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM, LEFT OR RIGHT .

NOTE: Follow instructions for handling optical fibers . See 61 00 ... NOTES ON HANDLING OPTICAL FIBERS .

Installation:

Do not mix up antenna connectors (1).

Mark antenna plugs (1) and disconnect.

Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect.

Release screws (3).

Feed out video module for on-board monitor (4) in direction of arrow and remove.

Replacement:

Carry out coding/programming.

Observe following IDC specifications:
