63 99 491 Replacing Light Module For Rear Left or Right Outside Door Handle Lighting (Up To 09/2004)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear door trim panel See 51 42 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Unlock both catches (2) and detach light guide (3).

Release screw (4).

Remove light module for outside door handle lighting (5).

Installation:

Catches (1) of light module for outside door handle lighting (2) must engage correctly when fiber optic guide is inserted.
