Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove left headlight . See 63 12 016 REPLACING LEFT HEADLIGHT (ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT) .
Remove drive unit for adaptive headlight . See 63 12 895 REPLACING DRIVE FOR LEFT ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT .
Remove control unit for left xenon headlight . See 63 12 860 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR LEFT XENON HEADLIGHT (FROM 03/2005) and 63 12 860 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR LEFT XENON HEADLIGHT (UP TO 03/2005) .
Remove Bulb For Left Xenon Headlight (ignition unit)

After installation:

Using BMW scan tool, carry out programming/coding
Adjust headlight . See 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS
