61 61 270 Removing And Installing Complete Wiper Console

Remove cowl panel cover from windshield.

Remove left fresh air duct.

Unlock plug (1) and detach.

Release screws.

Remove wiper bracket (2).

Installation: 

Wiper bracket (1) must rest by its own weight flat on all mounting points (2).

Installation: 

Install screws in sequence 1 to 3 and tighten hand-tight.

You should be able to install all screws without having to exert effort or twisting the wiper bracket. If the tolerance compensation in the sleeves is insufficient or the wiper bracket does not rest flat by its own weight alone on all the mounting points, the wiper bracket and the body must be immediately aligned (refer to next step).

Tighten down screws in sequence 1 to 3.

Tightening torque, 61 61 6AZ  . See GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
