51 71 447 Removing and Installing or Replacing Panel For Cover On Left or Right Side Member

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Detach wheel arch cover from front/rear side member cover. See 51 71 040 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER and 51 71 041 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER

Release screws (1).

Unclip panel (1) at holders (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation:

Before installation, soak holders (1) in water.

If necessary, detach holders (1) from body and fit on panel (3).

If necessary, detach grommets (2) from holders (1) and place on body.

If necessary, replace faulty holders (1) and grommets (2).
