51 32 160 Removing and Installing/Replacing Housing Cover On Inner Left Or Right Door Window Frame

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove front door trim panel See 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL

Disconnect plug connection (1) for speaker.

Lever cover (2) in direction of arrow out of retainer (3).

Detach cover (1) from retainer (2) and remove rest.

Installation:

Following parts of cover (2) must not be damaged or missing:

1 Bridges
3 Foam

Initialize power window. See 67 62 ... NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW

Replacement:

Remove speaker. See 65 13 050 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPEAKER (TREBLE SPEAKER, FRONT DOOR)
