51 14 008 Replacing (Removing and Installing) Number/Letter Combination On Front Left or Right Side Panel

IMPORTANT:

serve as the basis for these repair instructions and must be followed without fail. See 51 14 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR ATTACHING NUMBER/LETTER DESIGNATION COMBINATION
NOTE:
Procedure is also mandatory for right side, outer edge of number is then positioned.
NOTE:
Number/letter combination is stuck on at a height level with turn indicator (1).
Stick on adhesive tape (2) horizontally above turn indicator (1).
Mark measurement "A" of turn indicator (1).
- Measurement "A" left 12 mm
- Measurement "A" right 11 mm
Remove liner (protective strip for adhesive surface).
Position number/letter combination up against adhesive tape (2) and at measurement "A" and press down firmly.
Remove carrier film.
