37 15 055 Removing and Installing/Replacing EDC Control Unit

IMPORTANT:

After installation:
- Carry out programming/coding . See DIAGNOSIS PROGRAMMING/CODING .
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove glovebox . See 51 16 367 REMOVING AND INSTALLING RIGHT GLOVEBOX (WITH ACTIVE KNEE PROTECTOR) WITH HOUSING .
- Remove fuse box from instrument panel carrier
Disconnect both plug connections (1).
If necessary, disconnect plug connections of other control units and tie up wiring assemblies.
Remove main wiring harness from A-pillar and pull a little towards rear.
Unclip EDC control unit (2) and remove towards rear.
