16 14 530 Replacing Sucking Jet Pump

Draw off fuel from fuel tank  . See 16 00 005 DRAINING AND FILLING FUEL TANK 

Remove sensor for fuel gauge (left)  . See 16 12 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FUEL GAUGE SENSOR (LEFT) 

Remove sensor for fuel gauge (right)  . See 16 12 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FUEL GAUGE SENSOR (RIGHT) 

Right side 

Release catch for suction jet pump on surge chamber. Detach line upwards.

Installation: 

Ensure that line locates correctly in surge chamber.

Left side 

Remove sucking jet pump from fuel tank and pull upwards to remove

Installation: 

Carefully insert line in sucking jet pump, do not bend.

It is absolutely essential to ensure that the line harness for the suction jet pump is correctly positioned in the fuel tank!
