While Road Driving

CAUTION: It is best to perform this procedure on company property or an unused road.
  1. Call up breaking-in program with diagnosis interface using DIS Tester. Red parking brake warning light in instrument cluster flashes.
  2. Start engine. Start breaking-in procedure by pressing parking brake button while car is stationary. Red parking brake warning light in instrument cluster flashes rapidly.
  3. Drive car to 25 MPH and keep speed constant for .3 mile. Breaking-in is automatically cancelled if speed exceeds 28 MPH.
  4. Press parking brake button again to stop breaking-in procedure. Red parking brake warning light in instrument cluster goes out.
