65 77 635 Replacing Sensor Mat For Left Or Right Rear Seat Occupancy Detector (Comfort Seat)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Remove sensor mat (1) from padding (2).

IMPORTANT: To avoid malfunctions, make sure sensor mat (1) is cleanly laid:
  • Lay plug-in connection in designated recess.
  • Lay sensor mat (1) straight and without kinks (large bending radii).
  • If necessary, secure sensor mat (1) with adhesive tape provided.
  • Feed sensor mat (1) in areas of transition (e.g. seat cushion to side section) cleanly into penetrations of padding (1).
