61 61 082 Removing And Installing/Replacing Right Windscreen Wiper Arm (Passenger Side)
Special tools required:

Both windscreen wiper arms are secured with significantly different torques.
Move windscreen wiper system into rest position with diagnosis of "assembly position" service function.
Remove protective cap (1) and cap (2).
Installation:
Make sure protective cap (1) engages correctly.
Version 1:
Water jet hose (1) connected to distributor
Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Detach water jet hose (2) by turning.
Unscrew nuts (3).
Type 2:
Water jet hose (1) with gray slide (2) (quick-release coupling)
For releasing, push slide (2) of quick-release coupling forwards until it snaps audibly into place.
Remove hose (1).
Unscrew nuts.
Installation:
Check sealing ring on distributor for damage, replace if necessary.
To facilitate installation, coat sealing ring with antiseize agent.
For fitting, push slide (2) of quick-release coupling back until it snaps audibly into place. Push water jet hose (1) onto distributor.
Detach wiper arm.
Use special tool 61 6 060 to detach wiper arms or adjusting disk.
Installation:
A tightly fit mounting element (1) in wiper arm can be reused.
A loose mounting element (1) must be replaced.
Installation:
Fit mounting disk (1).
Partially screw nuts onto shafts but do not screw down fully yet.
Installation:
Positioning windscreen wiper blade:
- Position wiper blade above marking (1) on windscreen.
- Hold wiper arm in this position and tighten down nuts (2) to tightening torque 61 61 13AZ. See GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
- Adhere to settling time, refer to tightening torque 61 61 13AZ. See GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
- Tighten down nuts (2) again to tightening torque 61 61 13AZ. See GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
Installation:
Adjust contact angle to windscreen:
- Wiper blade must rest above marking (1) on windscreen.
- Place special tool 00 9 331 at height of pivot point of wiper blade on windscreen; if there is no light gap: adjust contact angle.
