52 24 015 Removing and Installing/Replacing Backrest For Left or Right Rear Seat (Normal)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove rear seat. See 52 24 005 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR SEAT (NORMAL)

Release screws (1).

Lever out backrest (2) at bottom and slide upwards out of guide.

Feed backrest (2) out of belt straps and remove.

Rear seat with seat heater:

Disconnect plug connections (1).

Remove clip (2) and remove control unit (3).

Installation:

First engage backrest in guides (1).
