37 13 110 Removing and Installing/Replacing Pressure Line For Oscillating Motor/Rear Axle

IMPORTANT:

Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.

Seal off pipe connections with plugs.

After installation:

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Release nuts on valve block.

Tightening torque 37 14 12AZ  . See 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS

Release nuts at junction I.

Tightening torque 37 14 13AZ  . See 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS

Disconnect pressure lines (1, 2).

Installation: 

Pressure lines are protected against being mixed up by different thread diameters on the valve block connection.

Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Remove pipe holder from underbody of vehicle.

Installation: 

Replace pipe holder.

Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Tightening torque 37 14 14AZ  . See 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS

Release nuts at junction II.

Tightening torque 37 14 13AZ  . See 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS

Remove pipe holder (1) from tension strut.

Installation: 

Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Tightening torque 37 14 14AZ  . See 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS

Release nuts at junction III.

Disconnect pressure lines (1, 2).

Installation: 

Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Tightening torque 37 14 13AZ  . See 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS

Remove right output shaft  . See 33 21 001 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OUTPUT SHAFT

Remove complete rear axle carrier  . See 33 31 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE REAR AXLE CARRIER

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 31 14 14AZ  . See FRONT AXLE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Remove pipe holder (2) from rear axle carrier.

Installation: 

Replace pipe holder (2).

Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.

Tightening torque 31 14 14AZ  . See FRONT AXLE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage! Pressure lines must not have any contact with the stabilizer (minimum distance 5 mm)!

Release nuts on oscillating motor.

Remove pressure lines from oscillating motor.

Installation: 

Pressure lines are protected against being mixed up by different thread diameters on the oscillating motor connection.

Tightening torque 31 14 14AZ  . See FRONT AXLE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .
