35 11 000 Removing And Installing Mounting Block For Pedals

IMPORTANT:

Check the function after installation.

REMOVE PANEL FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY .

Release screw (1) on footwell air duct. First pull footwell air duct to left, then remove towards bottom front.

Detach retaining clip on brake pedal (1).

Withdraw pin.

Release nuts (2).

Installation: 

Replace nuts (2).

Tightening torque: 35 11 1AZ  . See PEDAL ASSEMBLY CONSOLE for specs.

REMOVE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH (1) .

Release nut (2) for brake pedal.

Installation: 

Replace nut (2).

Tightening torque: 35 11 1AZ  . See PEDAL ASSEMBLY CONSOLE for specs.

Unfasten screws (1).

Pull out light module with holder towards front.

Pull off connectors.

Remove light module.

Remove bearing bracket for pedal assembly.

Installation: 

Position guide lug (1) precisely during installation to prevent damage.
