34 51 560 Removing and Installing/Replacing Pressure Sensor For DSC

Special tools required:
- 34 1 290
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition
- Protect brake system against unauthorized actuation
After completing work:
- Flush brake system See 34 00 025 REPLACING FLUID IN ABS/ASC+T BRAKE SYSTEM
- Check pressure sensor for leaks
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Detach pressure sensor (2) with special tool 34 1 290. See 34 1 290 PLUG-ON RING WRENCH WAF 24
Installation:
- Check sealing surfaces and thread of pressure sensor and of hydraulic unit for damage.
- Screw in a new pressure sensor immediately after unscrewing the old pressure sensor.
- Tightening torque 34 51 2AZ. See 34 51 SLIP CONTROL SYSTEM (ABS, ASC+T, DSC)
